The Huairou Forum is an annual academic event co-sponsored by Peking University and Beijing Science and Technology Association. This year is the third edition, which has been held in Huairou, Beijing from November 3-5, 2023. The theme of this year's forum is "Biomedical Imaging: Future Technologies and future Scientists ". This forum invited many top experts at home and abroad, including Stefan W. hell, the winner of the 2014 Nobel Prize, to discuss the world's most cutting-edge biomedical imaging technology development trend.

Professor Stefan W. Hell's report "Molecule-Scale Resolution and Dynamics in Fluorescence Microscopy" has attracted wide attention and praise. Technologies such as MINFLUX, MINFLUX3D and MINFLUX multicolor imaging, as well as MINSTED, which can detect angstrom (0.1nm) levels, are considered important breakthroughs in the field of super-resolution microscopy that will provide new impetus and direction for the development and advancement of the life sciences.

The large screen showed many clear and beautiful images taken by domestic users using Abberior STED, as well as amazing pictures and videos taken by MINFLUX nanoscopy.

During the Imaging Facility tour, attendees went to the NBIC Multi-modal Cross-scale Biomedical Imaging Facility in Huairou Science City, Beijing. Professor Stefan W. Hell, the inventor of MINFLUX, Academician Heping Cheng, Professor Yujie Sun and Dr. Gerald Donnert cut the ribbon for the upcoming installation of the Abberior MINFLUX nanoscopy.
